Highlander Fight Team Rolls over RFL Louisville Kentucky
The Team and the whos who of the school was called to war! This night was filled with roadblocks that powers that be tried to derail Highlander in there backyard. The Team made of leaders took up the slack going 6-1 for the night!

Mike Yanez returned to the cage after 2 years. Master Pablo Popovitch was there to lead the way. Yanez in calm business manor got the job done wining his fight in 1:18 sec via Armbar.

After controversy in the first round, when Joe "the Deal" Heink (7-1) caught Isaiah Combs (3-0) in an armbar, but released it after a ref taped both fighters, Heink secured a guillotine choke to tap Combs in the second round. Heink won the RFL amateur welterweight title.
Light heavyweights “C.T.” Craig Turner (1-0) in his pro debut and Derek Sawyer (1-3-1)(former Highlander) CT won by Dec
as he beats his 2nd fighter out of the Rival Louisville MMA camp.
Bruce Ferguson over Brandon Bell in a all out war wins all three rounds for DEC.
Brian Holmes was to fight for the 145 tittle untill Ryan jones somehow stabed himself in the leg making him unable to fight.
145 RFL amateur title goes to Holmes.

Johny "Cage" Cardona 1-0 out of fort lauderdale whooped Lane Splawn (1-1) in a 1:56 TKO. Splawn assumed turtle guard and Cardona hammered fists through Splawn’s defense until the referee stopped the bout. Cardona shined on the amateur portion of the event.

The most heart felt fight and much controversy For three five-minute rounds earlier in the night, bantamweights Orville Smith (9-0) of Indianapolis and Josh Taz Ferguson (2-1) matched each other’s tenacity, whether in Ferguson’s zone throwing mean leather. Their fight was a classic that neither warrior lost until the judges called it 29-8 twice and 28-29 for smith which may be contested by the months end.
Highlander put it all on the line, proving there style is just too strong as they move to a team record of 85-19
